I am deeply indebted to Ms Veni Praveen who is helping my autistic and non verbal child Samuel to overcome his Behavioural issues. Samuel was unable to access therapy during the covid pandemic era which exacerbated his behavioural issues which in turn created a lot of tension and he required urgent intensive therapy. As a parent, I am extremely happy with the results of the ABA therapy provided to Samuel since April 2023 as I can see positive changes in his demeanor which is conducive to societal norms.Besides creating a safe space, Veni ensured that Samuel was able to express himself appropriately. I wish Veni and her team all the very best in their quest to make the world inclusive and a better place for autistic children who are trying to fit in a world filled with neurotypical individuals.

I feel very hopeful about bringing my daughter here for therapy. She has improved a lot after coming here. I feel very comfortable coming here. Even talking to Veni ma’am gives me relief from stress. All the other faculty members, along with Veni ma’am, are also very helpful and kind. They are very dedicated to their work. Looking back, the journey with VABACC even though a short one (6 months), was filled with joy and satisfaction. We still remember the day in January when we first brought our son Sreeram for assessment at VABACC, we were sad and broken because we had lost our hope about our son’s future. We had visited almost all the so-called child development centres and schools but none of them were able to help our son or us in understanding him and VABACC was different. - On the first day, an in-depth assessment was carried out to identify the child’s problems. - Unlike other centres parents are not judged here. Instead, the parents are made aware of the ways to handle their child. - Techniques to handle the child is not the usual theoretical stuff found in textbooks, the therapist will try out the techniques on the child and if it is successful, it is passed onto the parent. This is something unique we have not seen anywhere else. - Specific sessions are arranged with parents wherein the development of the child is addressed in very good detail. Moreover the feedback from parents are also considered and given sufficient attention. - Monthly skill tracker is a very good indication on the development of the child. - Most importantly, the support is available 24 x 7.

ABA Care Center-ല്‍ വന്നതിനുശേഷം അവന്റെ ജീവിതത്തില്‍ വലിയ മാറ്റം സംഭവിച്ചു. Social interaction കുറവായിരുന്നതിനും കുട്ടിയുടെ പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങളുണ്ടായിരുന്നതിനും വലിയ മാറ്റം വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് കുട്ടികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ അവന്‍ ഉണ്ടാകുമ്പോള്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഭയം കുറഞ്ഞു. ABA Care Center-ല്‍ എത്തിയതിനുശേഷം eye contact നല്ല രീതിയില്‍ വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. സ്വന്തം കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ പറയാനും തുടങ്ങി. മൊത്തത്തില്‍ പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ മുന്‍പുണ്ടായിരുന്നതിനേക്കാള്‍ കുട്ടിയുടെ social awareനെസ്സും interactionനും വലിയ മാറ്റം വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഒരു 6 മാസത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ ഇത്രയും വലിയ മാറ്റം കാണാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞതില്‍ വളരെ സന്തോഷമുണ്ട്.
